Perujazz was founded in 1984 by veterans of Traffic Sound, Los Mad's and Peru Negro and have spent the ensuing four decades refining Latin American sounds, so cajon drums and Afro-Peruvian, Andean and jungle rhythms fused with jazz, rock and funk into something super groovy and gloriously psychedelic.
This double live album is the sound of the gang in full flow during their 2023 European tour. The ten tunes span over seventy minutes from the extended funk workouts of 'Funk Andino' and the epic 14-minute 'Cumbiando' to the tender 'Homenaje A Chocolate'. This is a band playing with the fire and precision of veterans, yet never afraid to take risks.
