Documentary reliving the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival performance by the legendary progressive rock band Emerson, Lake and Palmer. The Isle of Wight Festival was, remarkably, the first ever show played by Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer as a trio. A performance filled with virtuosic musical skill and spectacular stage effects, including the firing of actual cannons, it launched the group to stardom.

Directed by Oscar-winning film maker Murray Lerner, this documentary intersperses footage of the show itself with up-to-date interviews with the group and their manager, John Gaydon, to bring the magic of that day back to life.
