This is the first trio album from Dollar Brand (Abdullah Ibrahim) and it is also one of the first African jazz productions, recorded in Johannesburg in 1960. Released here for the first time on CD, the disc also includes the long available album 'Jazz Epistle - Verse 1' featuring Hugh Masekela.
