    Picking up the gospel-disco re-edit baton from Greg Belson and Stroud sorts Situation, Chicagoans Sadar Bahar and Marc Davis return to Mr Bongo with more high-grade re-arrangements of righteous, dancefloor ready obscurities. On side A they revisit Myrna Summers' 'So Much To Live For', a private press gospel-disco delight in which lead and choir vocals rise above positive pianos, mazy church organ solos and a typically stomping, energy-packed groove. Turn to the flip for the hybrid, early-to-mid-80s gospel boogie delights of Davis and Bahar's take on The Yancy Family's 'You Lifted Me Higher', a colourful affair marked out by layered synths, slap-bass and sweeping synth-strings.
