



































The one that came first; recorded at EGREM in March 1996, the Afro-Cuban All Stars' A Toda Cuba Le Gusta assembled nearly 60 musicians across four generations, for what was effectively the opening statement of the World Circuit resurgence. Ibrahim Ferrer, Pio Leyva, Manuel "Puntillita" Licea and Raul Planas stepped up on vocals; Ruben Gonzalez at the piano; Orlando "Cachaito" Lopez on bass; Manuel "Guajiro" Mirabal leading a six-piece brass section out of the Tropicana Orchestra. It produced ten tracks across son montuno, guajira, danzon, mozambique, only for its sibling record came out and wrest all the attention away.
