Radio On A Film By Christopher Petit (1979)

    BFI

A striking directorial debut from Christopher Petit, "Radio On" follows a young London DJ as he travels to Bristol by car to investigate the death of his brother. What ensues is part mystery story, part road movie through a late 70's England that stands on the precipice of social and cultural change and the imminent arrival of Thatcherism.

Filmed in black and white with a post-punk soundtrack that includes music by David Bowie, Kraftwerk, Ian Dury, Robert Fripp, Devo and Wreckless Eric. Also comes with a 28-page booklet and interview extras.
