Brilliant modal jazz album from the vintage year of 1967!

1967 saw Miles Davis' 'second' classic quintet of Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Tony Williams, and Ron Carter record the music for the albums Nefertiti, Water Babies and Sorceror - all essential modal jazz albums recorded by what was essentially a tight and long-standing super-group of some of the best jazz players on the planet! These musicians just operate on a higher plain!

    Highly recommended!
