      Classic Max Roach featuring lots of Max's tasty drum solos. Max was one of the first to play musical drum solos, prior to that the standard drum solo sounded like a bunch of drums thrown down a flight of steps. Especially interesting is the opening cut which is a drum solo in 3/4.
