      Keep The Pressure On: The Beverley’s Rock Steady Singles 1966 – 1967 is the 3rd part of the exclusive Music On Vinyl’s Trojan compilation series, which celebrates the best works from the legendary reggae label Trojan Records. It was compiled by Laurence Cane-Honeysett, who also wrote the linernotes. This double album, focusses on the Beverley's catalogue and includes some of the finest and most popular Jamaican recordings from a fascinating period during which rock steady became established as the island’s national sound. The 28 tracks here provide ample evidence of the superior quality of Beverley’s output from this time and why, by the summer of 1967, Beverley’s Records vied with the likes of Studio One and Treasure Isle as Kingston’s leading record company. Some of Beverley's finest are featured on this compilation; as there are Desmond Dekker and The Aces, Derrick Morgan and Roland Alphonso and The Beverley’s All-Stars etc.
