Reissue of 1979 monster ‘Don’t Turn It Off' from Hot Chocolate! Having enjoyed a huge revival in 2009 when made popular again on dance floors by 40 Thieves, this unashamedly catchy cut was also a stand out on the Eskimo Rub & Tug mix. Next on side A is the extended 12” version of ‘Every One’s A Winner’. Permanently on Baldelli’s repeat list and with its unmistakable twanging guitar riff, this 1979 bomb was a sure-fire hit in discos and living rooms alike. Flip over for ‘Night Ride’, a deep electronic disco cut with psychedelic undertones which was strangely never released as a single. Last up is 1976 disco-stomper ‘Heaven’s In The Back Seat Of My Cadillac’, with its dominating funk-filled bassline, recently edited magically by The Revenge. Essential EP for any self-respecting party record box!
