Athens Of The North bring another previously unheard gem to light, with Boots For Dancing’s 1982 record ‘The Undisco Kidds’. Throughout a short career spanning across three years, Boots For Dancing rose from Scotland’s punk scene bringing a new type of energetic live performance, leading the way for the Post Punk movement. After a string of would be hits, the band split in 1982 due to business differences with only a handful of single releases. They did however record a wealth of tracks during their time together which the guys at Athens Of The North have now put together to release “the album-that-never-was”.
