“One of the all-time stone-cold Studio One classic albums - a superlative collection of thoughtful 'reality' and lovers lyrics over rock-solid Studio One rhythms. Everyone should have a copy of this in their collection.” Downbeat Special

Recorded between 1966 and 1968, newly fully remastered. Artist and songwriter (for Ken Boothe, Delroy Wilson, Marcia Griffiths and many more) Andy first found fame as the lead vocalist of The Paragons before launching his solo career at Studio One. His peak as a solo artist came in the late '60s when he recorded a string of singles for the Studio One label. In 1970, these singles were compiled on the Song Book album.
Vocal harmony on three tracks are performed by Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh of The Wailers, and backing comes from Studio One band the Soul Vendors, whose members included Jackie Mittoo and Roland Alphonso.
Includes all the hits such as 'Unchained', 'Feeling Soul', 'I've got to go back home', 'My time' plus many more.
