Recorded between 1993-95, these newly revealed vocal versions transform the project's ambient-dub foundations into fully formed songs enriched by deep feeling and roots heritage. With towering performances from Roy Shirley, the Twinkle Brothers, Joseph Cotton, Ricky Ranking and Greekie's moving 1995 7" version of 'My Island I Will Never Forget,' the album brings rare emotional gravity to its spacious production. An unreleased archive cut, 'Marine Steppers,' seals the set and a stunning reggae dub statement in its own right.
