Over the last few years, Eglo Records chief Alexander Nut has begun to focus far more on music production, with predictably impressive results. He made his belated solo debut via last year's fabulous 'Under Construction' EP and here follows it up with another impressively strong four-tracker. The key cut here is 'The Message', a drowsy, far-sighted and hand percussion-propelled chunk of spiritual jazz/future Afro-jazz fusion. On the flip-side, Bodhi Satva takes the track to the dancefloor, first via the percussion-rich deep house-jazz-meets-nu-jazz brilliance of the 'Ancestral Soul' remix, and then via the bigger, heavier, effects-laden and tribal house-tinged 'Ancestral Dub'. 'Hello High', a Rhodes-rich chunk of organic house deepness, completes a predictably fine package.
