A deep roots treasure, finally given the sonic justice it deserves. Tabby Diamond’s ‘Eyes of Africa’ is a spiritual chant with heavyweight production straight from the vaults of the legendary Rodguel Sinclair, aka Blackbeard. Originally released on 7” in 2001, the first pressing left much to be desired, like a lion without a roar, its dull sound failed to do the song justice. Now, restored from the original source and mixed by King Tunarro, this reissue is the definitive version, fuller, richer, and more powerful than before.
