Lorenzo Morresi and Tenderlonious reconnect on a new 7" for Terrasolare, following their 2023 full-length Cosmica Italiana on 22a.
Though that album stretched jazz-funk, library textures and Mediterranean moods, these two condense the formula to sharp, cinematic vignettism: 'Scoglio Rosso' rides a pulsing ItalOST bop, fractured across by dancing, rhythmically unfettered pan flute, while 'Chiaia Di Luna' drifts into dreamier territory, led by woodwinds and a warm, rolling groove. Morresi, rooted in Italy's contemporary jazz and electronic crossover, finds a natural foil in London multi-instrumentalist Tenderlonious, whose reeds and flute work shape the duo's sound.
