In 1964 Roy Ellis, a Jamaican teenager, released two of his first compositions backed by the best talents from Jamaican music: Ernest Ranglin on guitar, Georgie Fame on organ, Tony Washington on piano, Eddie ‘Tan Tan’ Thornton playing trumpet, Rico on trombone, Sonny Burke on sax.
