    70s funk-and-soul "satisfactorizers" from Chicago, Africano, return to the racks with 'Open Your Hearts (Parts 1 & 2)', a 7" reissue of their best fiery modern soul staple by restorers Stu Clark and Miche at Celestial Soul. This rec' became a secret weapon among Windy City selectors, prized for its urgent rhythm section and soaring, gospel-glosa vocals. DJs such as Mark Grusane and Theo Parrish would stoke the flame through patient club play, vouching its true claim to fame (despite early obscurity) as fodder for long, feeling-led sets; only by their early intuitive hands do Celestial Echo now commute the song's obscurity-death-sentence with a fresh run, placing the familiar Part 1 on the A and the extended, looser Part 2 on the flip.
