      Record Store Day 2016 Release. Manic Pop Thrill' is the debut album by That Petrol Emotion, originally released in 1986 on Demon Records - this is the 30th anniversary release, especially for Record Store Day 2016. Pressed on 2 x 10" translucent orange vinyl, and presented in a gatefold sleeve That Petrol Emotion were formed by the brothers John and Damian O'Neill of The Undertones when the band split, with their friend Ciaran McLaughlin and American vocalist Steve Mack. Five bonus tracks: The original vinyl release of Manic Pop Thrill featured 12 tracks, whilst the CD benefitted from 3 bonus tracks from day one. These CD only tracks are included here on Side D along with the tracks 'Mine', the b-side of the single release of 'It's A Good Thing' and 'Non- Alignment Pact', written by Pere Ubu and recorded live at The Electric Ballroom in May 1986.
