Big Crown Records signs up Marco Benevento for his debut 7", and in return, he offers up plenty of his piano virtuosity and compositional flair. The A-side, 'Frizzante,' is a joyous, high-energy soul-jazz track full of cascading piano runs, lush horns and electric piano layers that create an unstoppable groove. On the B-side, 'Turnadot' sees Benevento in a more cinematic, atmospheric mode with Marianne Mirage's haunting vocals weaving through restrained yet expressive instrumentation.
