Discotheque Credits is a London based master of classic disco, curveballs and rarities re-edited and next to drop is this future secret weapon, the 'Forgiveness Not Permission' EP. Kicking off with a slow, low and loose rework of 'Night People', its stretched intros, extended drum breaks and layered percussive overdubs set a subtle and hypnotic 98 BPM groove. 'Lions' prowls next and this one is a tribal, chant-laced 45rpm workout before 'Breakin'' explodes as a rogue boogie-disco hybrid of bongos and breakbeats that cannot fail to to push any dancefloor to the brink. It's a timeless sound with universal appeal.
