Originally released on NYC label BC Records in 1980, this version became a staple on the NYC scene back in the day receiving heavy rotation at both the Paradise Garage and Mancuso’s Loft, and its druggy hypnotic take on the Sting-penned classic still packs floors today with a superb chugging slo-mo aesthetic, moody strings, dreamy vocals and ultra-funky bass.
