'Mingus Dynasty' is an unjustly neglected album that was recorded in late '59, six months after the great bassist's classic 'Mingus Ah Um'. Six of the ten tracks feature a tentet with the remaining four by a septet. Featuring Don Ellis, Jimmy Knepper, Booker Ervin, Benny Golson, Roland Hanna andDannie Richmond amongst others
