These are the Barrington Levy ‘Time Capsule’ sessions which were recorded in 1982 at Channel One studio in Jamaica but buried away for nearly 15 years before resurfacing in 1996 by RAS Records. Barrington Levy needs little introduction, and this him in his prime, with the rich voice and great lyrics he’s known for backed by the earth shattering riddim section of the Roots Radics. These forgotten gems were produced by Milton Welch and final mix-down laid by Jim Fox of Lion & Fox Recording Studio. We present our 4 favourite tracks accompanied by their ferocious dubs in all their glory ‘Jah A The Creator’ ‘Little Children Cry’ ‘Hypocrites’ and ‘Oh Jah, Can’t You See’ for the first time ever released on vinyl.
