Recorded in 1964, this was Baden Powell's first album for the Barclay record label in France. A mixture of bossa nova, joint compositions with Vinicius De Moraes, and classical pieces, Powell is equally adept playing Albinoni's "Adagio" and Bach's "Prelude" as he is his own "Berimbau" and "Samba Triste". Truly beautiful.
