Amazingly beautiful second volume in this essential series of compilations of ultra-obscure folky rarities. Where the first volume featured Joni Mitchel-inspired female folk rock with a subtle soul or jazz inflection, this set concentrates on John Fahey-esque solo guitar tracks, and it's really stunning stuff: fourteen tracks of super-rootsy reinventions of olden days Delta blues styles with a John Fahey/Ry Cooder-esque twist. This really is a great package - the music flows seamlessly and is presented in a lovely slipcase with a thick booklet full of extensive notes, photos, and sleeve scans. Numero pull it off yet again! Very highly recommended!
