This is the real deal. These are among the many classic Salsa tracks you get to hear in the bars and clubs of the working-class neighborhoods of San Juan. These are not the most frenetic or hard-hitting Salsa dance numbers but they certainly do get you dancing and partying and they have not lost their relevance (musically or culturally) although most were recorded over 25 years ago. Eddie Palmieri, Charlie Palmieri, Ruben Blades, Tito Puente, Ray Barretto and the Fania All Stars are all well-represented on this anthology of highly danceable Salsa tracks
