    Blawan and Pariah return as Karenn with a new six tracker on Works The Long Nights. Moving away from the garage influenced swing of their earlier collaborations into darker industrial-noise club-steady techno territory fashioned most recently by Metasplice and Karl O'Connor (Regis). 

    Brutal, parping horns on opener "Sailing Solvents"; twisted 'bad trip' techno action on "Nicotine Window Netting"; hollow dubby kicks and skittering snares on the uncomprimising "A Room Full of Fuck All"; predatory, unstoppable rhythm on "Clean It Up"; distorted acid breakcore on "Lifesbleach" and banging, percussive aggy techno on "Widedyed".
