House Of Joy was the name used in Jamaica for the the large wooden speakers that powered the early dancehalls. This box set contains fifteen rare Studio One singles as well as a poster, booklet, 45 adapter and a keychain, and is compiled from the extensive Studio One catalog to honor the pioneering Jamaican soundman Clement Dodd who started recording in the early 1950's. Featuring singles with the original labels this collection mines the rich history of Studio One and is a true testimony of the label's greatness.
