Principally operational throughout the second half of the 1990s, Basic Channel spin-off Chain Reaction was a rich source of dubby techno and spectral 4×4: Vladislav Delay, Monoloake and Porter Ricks were all part of the fold, with the latter releasing their essential Biokinetics, previously reissued on Type. One of the imprint’s key figures was Fluxion, aka Greek producer Kostas Soublis, who released a string of early 12″s on the label and a compilation album, 1999′s Vibrant Forms.
