Cessa's third release on their Missing Link Sounds imprint is another typical blend of styles that evades characterization.

Having recieved massivee support from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, Laurent Garnier, Sbtrkt, Geiom, Mr Scruff, and top A & R man Ross Allen amongst others, Cessa return with their strongest release to date.

'Recon' sounds like a blend of the best of Good Looking/ Promised Land-era D & B with more immediate 2 step/dubstep sensibilities that produces a great mix of rolling beats and a melodic soundscape. Recon was given the Sbtrkt treatment on an earlier MLS release and returns here in it's fine original form.

'Down & Out' opens with an eerie acoustic double bass intro that descends into an upright synth-led floor filler, while still maintaining Cessa's love of restless arrangements and beat programming that strays away from the usual.
